Welcome, Dr. Karina Vergara!

Dear Patients and Families,

It’s hard to believe it has been more than two years since I joined this incredible practice to launch South Coast Smiles Pediatric Dentistry. Thanks to the support of many, including you, our team has continued to grow. We are thrilled to welcome a new Associate Pediatric Dentist, Dr. Karina Vergara, starting February 2025.

Dr. Karina and I share a like-minded approach to care, a commitment to excellence, and a warm, calming chairside manner. Both Board-Certified Pediatric Dentists, we trained together during our Pediatric Dentistry residency at the UConn Health Center and Connecticut Children’s Medical Center. Later, we worked as colleagues in the Greater Boston area. We’re excited to bring her expertise and philosophy to our practice. Learn more about Dr. Karina on our About page!

Both Dr. Karina and I will work with your children, ensuring continuity of care and expanding appointment availability. Whether it’s a routine visit or an emergency, you’ll always see a familiar, caring face.
